We are Chip Williams and Anne Ward, a husband-and-wife team married for more than two decades. We moved to Appalachia from the Chicago area in 2011 and want to share the story of our county. We are the creatives behind Coneflower Creative, our production company.
Chip is a photographer , award-winning documentary filmmaker and educator. Over the span of his career, his work has been published in numerous national and regional magazines and his corporate and commercial clients have included Fortune 500 companies, design firms, government agencies and educational clients. Anne is an award-winning writer, documentary producer, editor and educator. Her client list includes Fortune 500 companies and communication firms. She is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Communication at Appalachian State University.
Their documentary production and photography work has taken them across America and to countries around the world.
When Anne and Chip are not working, they can be found on the sidelines of a pool cheering on their children.
